We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly, in accordance with the laws of Vietnam — including Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP on Personal Data Protection — and other applicable regulations. By using our website or providing us with your information, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who we are

VietnamRenty Inc. is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide to us

• Contact details — your name, phone number, email address, and messaging IDs (e.g. WhatsApp or Zalo) when you contact us.
• Housing preferences — budget, preferred areas, move-in dates, and other requirements you share so we can help you find a home.
• Communications — the content of your enquiries, messages, and correspondence with us.
• Job applications — if you apply for a role, the information in your CV and application (name, contact details, work history, etc.).

Information collected automatically

• Technical & usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies — used to operate and secure the site, remember preferences, and measure usage (see Section 6).

3. How we collect your data

• Directly from you — via our contact and enquiry forms, or when you message or call us through phone, WhatsApp, or Zalo.
• Automatically — through cookies and similar technologies as you browse the website.
• From you when you apply for a job with us.

In line with Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP, you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us — although this may affect our ability to provide certain services.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to function properly, keep the site secure, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. The cookies we rely on are:

• Strictly necessary — security & performance. Set by our infrastructure and CDN provider, Cloudflare, to protect the site, manage traffic, and deliver pages quickly (for example, security/bot-management cookies such as __cf_bm and cf_clearance).
• Functional. Set by WordPress to operate core site features and remember basic preferences.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our site — for example, pages viewed, traffic sources, device type, and general (city-level) location. It sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> (typically lasting up to about 13 months) and collects usage data in aggregated, statistical form. We do not use this data to identify you personally, and we do not run behavioural advertising.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings (some features may not work as intended without them), and you can opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

7. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only as follows:

• Landlords, property owners, and partner agents — to arrange viewings and facilitate lease agreements, which is a core part of our service.
• Service providers — such as our hosting and CDN provider Cloudflare (including Cloudflare R2, which stores our property images), our analytics provider Google (Google Analytics 4), and messaging platforms (WhatsApp/Meta, Zalo), who process data on our behalf or under their own privacy policies.
• Embedded content — pages such as our office location may include Google Maps, which may collect data in accordance with Google’s privacy policy.
• Authorities — where disclosure is required by Vietnamese law, regulation, or a valid legal request.

8. Cross-border data transfers

Because we serve international clients and use globally operated service providers, your personal data may be stored or processed outside Vietnam. Where this occurs, we take steps to handle such transfers consistently with applicable Vietnamese law, including the cross-border transfer requirements of Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP.

9. Data retention

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our ongoing relationship with you, or as required by law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access — to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP and applicable law, you have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data, or restrict/object to its processing.

If you access our website from the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR may also apply to your personal data. In that case, in addition to the rights above, you have the right to:

• Access, rectification, and erasure of your personal data.
• Restriction of, or objection to, our processing of your data.
• Data portability — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
